Koh Lipe — how long to stay, and where to go next?

I currently have 5 nights booked on Koh Lipe and am considering extending my stay. I’m really in need of a relaxing break and would like to make the most of my time in southern Thailand.

After Koh Lipe, I’m thinking of spending 3–4 nights elsewhere before returning to Bangkok. I’ve visited Thailand several times before, but never explored the southern region.

Railay and Ao Nang are on my list, but I’m not sure whether the five-hour boat transfer is worthwhile, especially since I need to avoid longtail boats due to a knee injury.

If anyone has suggestions for easier destinations to reach or insights on whether the Krabi area is worth the extra travel, I’d love to hear them.
