Kohngai→Koh Lanta

The speedboat from Koh Ngai to Koh Lanta takes 30 minutes direct. All scheduled services are direct — there are no intermediate stops and no passenger transfers.

The crossing covers about 33 km across the southern Andaman Sea. Speedboats depart from the beach near Koh Ngai Resort and arrive at Saladan Pier on the northern tip of Koh Lanta.

Services operate from mid-October through late April / early May. During the May–September monsoon season, scheduled services are reduced or suspended and travelers should plan for longer crossing times.

The speedboat from Koh Ngai to Koh Lanta costs THB 650 per adult on every operator in the SmartEnPlus inventory. Children pay THB 390 and infants travel free. Pricing is identical across both Bundhaya Company and Satun pakbara Speed Boat Club.

This is one of the cheapest inter-island services in the Andaman. The fare covers pier-to-pier transport only — there is no hotel pickup, drop-off, or longtail transfer included.

Book in advance for December and January (peak season). Koh Ngai has limited accommodation, and the speedboat services fill up quickly.

All speedboat services from Koh Ngai arrive at Saladan Pier on the northern tip of Koh Lanta. Saladan Pier is the main ferry and speedboat terminal for Koh Lanta and is used by all Andaman-corridor routes.

The pier is convenient for hotels in Klong Dao, Long Beach, Phra Ae, Klong Nin, and Kantiang Bay. From Saladan Pier, travelers arrange onward taxi or hotel pickup to reach their resort. Travelers staying in southern Koh Lanta should allow an extra 60–90 minutes for the road transfer.

Saladan Pier is the only arrival point on Koh Lanta for Koh Ngai services — there is no alternative pier or beach drop-off.
