Phuket→Koh Ngai

The only direct route from Phuket to Koh Ngai is by JOIN (shared) speedboat from Rassada Pier in Phuket Town to Koh Ngai Resort Pier — the only formal pier on Koh Ngai. Three operators run daily direct services: Bundhaya Company, Satun pakbara Speed Boat Club, and Smart En Plus. Two daily departure times are available: 08:30 and 12:30, with the crossing taking approximately 2 hours 40 minutes for the 124 km hop across the Andaman Sea. All vessels are 45–75 seat speedboats, and tickets are sold as JOIN (shared) seats only — there is no private charter on this corridor. Bookings are open November through late April (high season); services reduce or suspend during the May–October monsoon.

The one-way adult fare from Phuket to Koh Ngai ranges from ฿1,799 to ฿1,950 depending on the operator. Bundhaya Company is the cheapest at ฿1,799 adult / ฿1,200 child, followed by Satun pakbara Speed Boat Club at ฿1,900 adult / ฿1,200 child, and Smart En Plus at ฿1,950 adult / ฿1,290 child. Infants travel free across all three operators. Prices are per-person for JOIN (shared) speedboat seats; no vehicle transport is available on this route. The fare covers the speedboat crossing only — national park entry fees (Hat Chao Mai National Park) are collected separately on Koh Ngai.

The speedboat from Phuket arrives at Koh Ngai Resort Pier, the only formal concrete pier on Koh Ngai. The pier sits in front of Koh Ngai Resort on the main Long Beach — most of the island's other 9–10 resorts on Long Beach are within walking distance (5–15 minutes). The pier is on the south Andaman Sea and serves as the central sea port connecting Koh Ngai to Phuket, Koh Phi Phi, Koh Lanta, Koh Mook, Koh Kradan, and Koh Lipe. Unlike Koh Kradan and Koh Bulone (where boats beach-land directly onto sand), Koh Ngai has a proper pier so passengers disembark dry with their luggage.
